I’m a huge MAC fan and have been for several years now since trying it during a visit to America. I’ve been using MAC Viva Glam Gaga Lipglass for around 3 months now and it is one of my firm favourites for daytime use as it’s a perfect nude colour which is so hard to find.
The lipglass shade is inspired by the one and only Lady Gaga. I was inspired to review this after recommending it to a fellow twitter user @MischiefMakeup
The suggested rrp for this is £12.50 but Debenhams actually have it on offer at the time of writing for £11.25.
The Lipglass is a pale milky beige colour and I would imagine it would suit most skin tones, when I decided to review this I was full of cold and my skin was very pale with red tones so I do apologise for my rather sore looking lips!.
You can see by the swatch on my hand that the lipglass is quite thick, I would not suggest wearing it outside if there is a breeze as your hair will get stuck to your lips (trust me on this), you will probably also want to avoid wearing it while visiting rock bars as men with long hair have a tendency to flip their hair back while rocking out (again trust me on this)
I would recommend using a lip pencil before using the lipglass just to give you lines to apply inside especially if you are not using lipstick underneath, the lipglass has a bit of bleed.
I would like to add that there is a matching lipstick called Viva Glam Gaga Lipstick which is the same shade as the lipglass and costs £12.15 at Debenhams.
All money raised from the sale of the Gaga products go to the MAC AIDS fund to help support people living with HIV/AIDS which is a fantastic excuse to go out and buy a new piece of makeup.
